SIA Security Guard Course

This qualification is set at level 2 for anyone to work as a security guard, which means that it is an entry level qualification which is required to be undertaken by anyone who wishes to work in the private security industry of United Kingdom. The qualification would lead you towards the grant of an SIA security guarding licence. However generally the demand for this qualification is relatively less, as people generally prefer to do the door supervisor qualification rather than the security guarding qualification. The reason for this trend is that the door supervisor licence would enable you to work as a door supervisor as well as a security guard.

This qualification is developed for all those SIA door supervisors who have done their qualification before 1 April 2021. Once these SIA door supervisors have to renew their SIA door supervision licence they would be required to do this SIA Top up Door Supervisor upskilling course which meets the regulators criteria for CPD and thus would enable to renew their SIA door supervision licence.

Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work

The Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work meets The Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 in respect of First Aid at Work and is aimed at individuals who intend to develop and gain formal recognition of their knowledge, understanding and skills of first aid at work. The course duration is 3 days and the qualification is applicable to those who work or intend to work for a range of organisations, as all employers are required by law to offer First Aid provision to their employees. By completing the two mandatory units, all learners will cover the essentials of First Aid, including roles and responsibilities, incident assessment and managing and administering First Aid to casualties in a variety of situations. These situations could relate to breathing, chocking, bleeding, shock, minor injuries, burns, scalds, poisoning, illness and anaphylaxis. This qualification will meet the requirements for the Close Protection Top Up Course.

The First Person on Scene (International) course (FPOSi) is the latest of a suite of courses designed to meet the Pre-hospital Emergency Medicine (PHEM) skills framework
This course sits between the First Aid at Work qualification & the QNUK Level 3 Award for First Responders (RQF) course. While the qualification has been developed for Close Protection Operatives working in the UK and abroad, the knowledge and skills it develops are also ideal for Cabin Crew, Industrial First Aiders and those working in remote areas. You will gain the knowledge, skills and competencies needed to be able to deal with a wide range of pre-hospital care emergencies, such as: manual handling of patients, managing a patient’s airway, catastrophic bleeding, management of fractures, medical emergencies and many more.

SIA door supervisor course for SIA license

You can also work as a security guard with this license. The complete name of this qualification is level 2 awards in door supervision. The door supervisor training course is designed and deliver at level 2, which means it is an entry-level qualification intended for a person who is aspiring to join the security industry in UK.
The door supervisor training course will allow you to work as a door supervisor in licensed premises. Licensed premises does not only include night clubs and pubs only it includes any place where alcohol is being sold in retail like retail supermarkets, restaurants hotels etc. The door supervisor qualification will allow you get an SIA door supervisor license which will allow you to work as a Door Supervisor as well as a Security Guard.
